Check number field being modified

I use MDEP and EDEP in the Check Number field to distinguish mobile and electronic transfer deposits. Quicken has been regularly replacing EDEP with EDEPúÿÿÿ on all such transactions. It does this only on the original entry, If I edit it back to EDEP, that is retained. MDEP entries aren't changed. Suggestions to avoid the change would be helpful.

    Hello @rblevow,

    Thanks for reaching out! To clarify your situation, is this change occurring after the transaction has already been downloaded into Quicken Simplifi? Or are the transactions coming into Quicken Simplifi like this already? For the latter case, we would be receiving the transaction this way from the financial institution, so we will want to make sure. Let us know!
