Filter to only show new transactions

I have two accounts that don't download pending transactions. So every day I either have to scroll through all transactions to see what is new or I have to look separately at these two accounts. Seems like it would be simple to add a filter to transactions to only show newly downloaded items.

Have you tried just looking at all Transactions (Click on Net Worth at the top left above the accounts list). You should see all your transactions with the most recent ones at the top. The ones downloaded today will probably be dated September 4. If you have them sorted differently, just click on the date field.

Also on the Dashboard, there is a "Recent Transactions" card that should show them in most recent order.

I think what would be more useful would be notation next to the account to show what accounts have newly downloaded transactions. Quicken Classic does this. There is already a suggestion to add this to Simplifi. It only has 6 votes. Perhaps you can add yours.

Thanks — because the newly downloaded transactions can be a few days old (once they cleared pending status), those sorts don't work easily for me. I can work around it, but agree that some type of notation or ability to just see new downloaded transactions should be relatively simple to implement. Maybe I'm in the minority of having two of my financial institutions not allow download of pending transactions!? I'll vote on the suggestion you mentioned.

I agree with you that it would be nice to have a visual cue that new transactions have downloaded. We need more than 7 votes though.

I have several accounts that don't download pending transactions including Fidelity and Capital One. But I normally add them anyhow.

I find that pending transactions can cause me problems, because some banks download them twice, and lately Apple Cash is having trouble with them.

I use the Reviewed column to mark transactions that I've looked at (and ensured that they're valid). I regularly filter the transactions list by Not Reviewed to see anything new that came in.

You could also considering looking at all transactions and filtering by those two accounts.

Great point! Any newly downloaded transactions that you didn't enter would automatically be unreviewed.
