FDP-187 error with Mohela Student Aid account (edited)

I keep getting the Care Code, FDP-187, when trying to link my account. It says, "multi-factor authentication is required to connect to your account", but it does not prompt for the multi factor code and a code is not sent to my multi factor device. Is there a way to link this account or am I out of luck?

    Thank you for letting us know you're seeing this issue. To help troubleshoot, I checked our internal tools, and it looks like this issue started yesterday.

    Since FDP-187 errors are often caused by temporary issues, the first troubleshooting step is to wait 48 hours and try again.
