Advanced Filters not working in the Income & Expense Report

I extensively use the "excluded in spending plan" and "not excluded in spending plan" advanced filters within Simplifi for my budgeting, and this new dashboard doesn't seem to work properly with it. It seems that whenever I include Column=Time, it completely ignores the filter - which is unfortunately the report that I am most interested in.

Mac OS browser (Safari) report configuration: row=category, column=time, interval=month and lookback set to 3 or 6 months (but probably any). Easiest way to see this is to set the filter to Advanced → "Excluded in spending plan" and all of my transactions show up in both the chart and the details below it, rather than just the handful of transactions that are excluded from my spending plan. In my case, I actually want the inverse of the above configuration, but found this is the easiest way to see that it doesn't follow the filter with this configuration.

Looks like the dev team simply removed all advanced filter options for this Income & Expense report. I truly hope this limitation is but a temporary workaround as this report had amazing potential; otherwise, this report becomes absolutely worthless to me and I would have preferred to just keep the old one =(
