Transactions pending from Chase for over a week

It's almost Sept 13, and I have transactions pending from Chase since Sep 4. And they're piling up. The transaction from Sep 4 already posted in my Chase account when I look at it from the Chase online banking portal. Usually never had any issues with Chase accounts. Is this normal?

    Hello @Oogway,

    Thank you for letting us know you're seeing an issue with pending transactions. To help troubleshoot, please provide more information. Have the posted versions of those transactions downloaded into your Quicken Simplifi? Is your balance in Quicken Simplifi reflecting correctly? Do you see any error messages/codes when you update your accounts?

    Hi Coach Kristina,

    I just opened my app today and the Chase transaction from Sep 4 is still in a pending state in my Simplifi, along with all the other transactions since that transaction.

    My balance with pending or without seems to be more or less accurate on my Chase accounts. It is not exactly matching the number I see in the Chase online banking portal, but I don't think that is an issue.

    I don't see any error messages/codes when opening Quicken or when my accounts update.

    Hello @Oogway,

    Thanks for the response! I would see if resetting the user token and the account connection works to resolve the issue you are seeing.

    1. Navigate to the bank's website, sign in, and then remove Quicken's access from the bank's third-party linked apps.
    2. Navigate back to Quicken Simplifi and reset the connection for the bank.
    3. Afterward, link the accounts found to the existing Quicken Simplifi accounts. Make sure that you are the owner of the account and that the account is not shared.

    Hi Jon,

    I followed these exact steps:

    1. I went to the Chase website, removed Quicken from third party linked apps.
    2. Reset the connection for Chase.
    3. Linked the accounts found to the existing Simplifi accounts.

    The accounts then showed as disconnected, then refreshed, the connected and up to date. However that transaction from Sep 4th 2025, is still in a pending state. The same transaction posted to my Chase account in the online banking portal already when I had initially reported the issue. So sorry but it does not look like these troubleshooting steps worked.

    Hello @Oogway,

    Thanks for the update. To clarify further, are the other transactions you mentioned previously also still pending? Are all new transactions pending, or only certain transactions? Are these transactions duplicates of already cleared transactions that downloaded as well? Let us know!

    Interestingly, I do see some recent transactions from my chase credit card that posted on Sept 14. So it seems the problem is isolated to some older transactions. This transaction from Sept 4 is from my chase checking account. It is a credit card payment to my capital one credit card. So its category is the credit card account. And it's excluded from reports and spending plan. And it's been pending since Sept 4. The other transactions that are still pending are from Sept 10 onwards, and since the weekend happened, maybe it might still take another day to post. We'll have to see.

    If other transactions are still downloading and clearing after being in the pending status, there is probably not an issue with the account itself, at least. Did the other transactions you mentioned end up clearing correctly after waiting? If the problem is with the one transaction from September 4th, it might be better to delete and recreate the transaction manually yourself.     I edited the pending Sept 4th transaction in the Android app and changed the status from pending to cleared. That seems to have done the trick. The other transactions seem to be posting normally now. Thanks for the help!
