[ONGOING] 9/15/25: Duplicate “Taxes” Category

We are currently seeing an issue in Quicken Simplifi where some customers may see a duplicate “Taxes” parent category with “Federal Estimated Tax Payment” under it. This is a known issue that we are working to resolve as quickly as possible. We currently have no ETA to provide on when a resolution can be expected, but will post updates as soon as we do.

Users can resolve this manually by moving the Federal Estimated Tax Payment sub-category into the main Taxes category and then deleting the extra/empty Taxes parent category. 

If you experience an issue with Reports crashing, it may be due to this issue. Please follow the steps above to manually resolve the issue, and then rerun your report.
