It's so broken that I turned notifications off. Much better without them.

Any updates on resolving this? I think this has been happening for a couple months now. I use same browser (Chrome) on desktop/laptop and get duplicate alerts. Also get same alerts on iPhone. I have to clear the same alerts on every device. It's like the alert clear status is being tagged with a device type, instead of just being "global". I really hate to disable all alerts, as they're generally helpful but it's coming to that.
Feel like this should be listed under "Known Issues".

I had a feeling that something like this was happening, and I now know it is. Yesterday or the day before, I cleared all alerts. Now, there are "99+" alerts. I believe it was on the same computer (MacOS, chrome), but yesterday I also used Quicken Simplifi from my Windows Desktop (Chrome).

I've just turned my notifications off for the timebeing.

Once I read that the fix had occurred I turned notifications back on. It worked properly this morning, thanks for the work on this!

It does seem better but I am just on 4.79 Web Release, and the promised fix is for 4.80; maybe it got implemented early.

I am on web 4.79 as well, and 5.41 on my iPhone. It could be because of my daily routine. I will first update on my iPhone in order to update the Apple Card and Apple cash accounts. This morning after the update I reviewed and cleared the notifications on the iPhone, then finished making my coffee (snob style) then went to my desk and the Mac desktop. When I opened Simplifi there were no notifications. WooHoo!

I imagine the version numbers we see are for client side apps (i.e. the web page and the scripts it runs on your machine) versus server/cloud-side-fixes (what the web app communicates with to store and retrieve information), and I imagine that this was a server/cloud-side-fix which might be independent of client version numbers. This is strictly a guess from what little I understand about how web apps work.
