    Hello @abernaki,

Thanks for reaching out! I converted your idea post into a discussion, as it looks like we already have an instance available in Quicken Simplifi for Northwestern Mutual Insurance. Have you tried this instance?

  • Yes, that is where I got the error I reported.

here is a screenshot of the popup that shows after I authenticate. I authenticate and get thru 2 factor just fine, just get this as it tries to load my accounts. spins for quite some time then get this error.

  • Previous closed discussions for Northwestern Mutual Insurance state to open a new discussion if there are issues. Like others have mentioned this worked with Mint previously, though it looks like you might be using a different connection than thru intuit with this finicity/Mastercard data connect.

    Hello @abernaki,

Thanks for the clarification! I am unable to see when you try to connect from our side, but the error code you supplied in your screenshot usually means that the account you are trying to add can no longer be located at the financial institution under the current set of credentials being provided. If you sign in to the bank's website, can you confirm that the account you are trying to add is available and is allowed to be shared with a third party?

Additionally, can you confirm if you are trying to add a new account to Quicken Simplifi or update an existing account already within the application? Let us know!

    -Coach Jon

  • New Account to Simplifi, Yes the account is available on their site and is allowed to be shared with a third party.

    Hello @abernaki,

Thanks for confirming! In order to get this escalated, can you please provide the following information when you can? We will need:

    • The name of the account(s), as it appears on the bank's website.
    • What type of account(s) are you attempting to connect in Quicken Simplifi?
    • A screenshot of the Accounts Summary page from the bank's website that has a wide enough scope to show the full page URL. This is the landing page after signing in, and typically lists all accounts and balances. You will want to take this from a web browser and not a mobile browser, as well as redact any private info such as account numbers.

We will also need logs to be sent to us:

    1. Log into the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
    2. Select Profile from the left-hand navigation bar.
    3. With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key for Mac or the Alt key for Windows, and then click Send Feedback.
    4. Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

I am, and have been having the same issue as @abernaki, for probably close to a year. Who can I contact to resolve this connection issue. I have multiple Northwestern Mutual Accounts and it is inconvenient to say the least to have to edit them manually. Please help.

    Thank you,

    Patrick

    Hello @Pattyv525,

Thank you for letting us know you're also seeing an issue. If you are seeing the same error as @abernaki is reporting, then please provide the information that @Coach Jon requested earlier, so that we can get this issue escalated:

    Thank you!
