Quicken AI - What is the benefit?
I noticed this today. Don't know when this was added or if it's been part of the app all along and I just never paid any attention. I admit I don't navigate to the Settings>General page that often and when I navigate to Settings>Accounts or any other page under Settings, I don't pay any attention to the General page as I pass by, so…
I'm wondering where the "personalized insights and summaries" are showing up other than perhaps just in general in the Reports?

I noticed that recently too (probably a few weeks ago?). I have a feeling they are "experimenting" with it internally to see what it can do, and want to make sure they have your permission well in advance of the AI studying your spending habits. Most of what I see in the app wouldn't qualify as 'AI' but i can imagine where it would be helpful.

Hello @DannyB,
Thanks for reaching out! We have some exciting new features that are underway involving Quicken AI, although they are not currently implemented within the program. The option isn't supposed to be enabled yet and will be removed for the time being.

On my system, it seems to have been enabled by default.
When they do release this feature they should probably change the default to disabled. And also explain what parts of the user's data will be available to the AI system if it is enabled.

@Coach Jon thanks for the clarification.
As @DryHeat points out, AI was "on" by default.
Eric Dunn's July update letter mentioned the use of AI to "improve" customer care and expanding its usage across all Quicken products. I'm usually open to technological advancements, but I have to admit this one is making me nervous.
I agree, the use of AI across Quicken products needs to be clearly delineated, what it has access to, how the data is used, how secure of my personal data is and a clear means of opting in, not being on by default with option to opt out.

Interesting comments. Thanks. I noticed it too a few days ago. This AI stuff is all the rage and everyone and app seems to have one. I'm dubious about all of it ethically, politically, economically, etc. You name it, but I'll leave it enabled to try it out anyhow.
I would be happy if Siri could reliably open my garage door.

Yesterday while doing some testing of features in Simplifi, I notice that the AI option has been removed as @Coach Jon previously stated would happen. I assume that means there aren't any AI features enabled in the apps.
