NMBT transition to UMB Bank

My bank has transitioned to UMB Bank. The NMBT accounts have been marked with 'Account needs attention'. Trying to use my new UMB Bank credentials does not work with the NMBT accounts in Simplifi. The account numbers remain the same at UMB.

I have not added the UMB Bank yet to simplifi.

What is the recommended way to add UMB Bank to Simplifi while preserving the transactions from NMBT?

    Try the following:

    1. Mark all your existing NMBT accounts as "Manual Accounts" - this disassociates them from your online institution. You can do this from the three dot menu under account settings for each account.
    2. Once no more accounts are associated wiht NMBT, Disconnect/Delete the NMBT financial institution from Quicken Simplifi.
    3. Then Add the UMB bank, but after entering your credentials (presuming there are no issues), where it asks you to add the online accounts as 'new', instead select the option to link the 'new' online accounts to existing accounts, for example, link the UMB Bank checking account to the 'manual' (former NMBT) checking account.

If all works well, your existing transactions and new accounts should be merged together in Quicken Simplifi.

    Good luck,

    Rob
