American Express FDP-401 error

I realize this is an ongoing issue - however, we haven't had an update in over a month. American Express is a connection that I would guess a majority of Simplifi users need. Why can't we get this fixed? I also use [removed competitor mention] (for a different purpose), and their connection to American Express continues to work, so it can't just be an American Express problem. Why can't we get an ETA on this fix? It makes me reluctant to renew my Simplifi subscription as the main purpose for my usage is tracking expenses, budgeting & net worth.

    We definitely understand that online banking issues can become frustrating. Unfortunately, our teams don't provide ETA's, so as an issue is being worked on, all we can do is ask that users follow the Alert, as any updates/a resolution will be posted there once available.

    With that, for this particular issue, it seems to clear up when trying again. I have run into it personally with my American Express account, and I just wait a few minutes and update again, and it works. I would definitely suggest doing the same!

    I hit the try again button and it synchronizes. It is annoying but a workaround. I was an IT analyst, programmer and troubleshooter for over 30 years (now retired) This type of annoyance was quite common. Unfortunately all you you can do is wait for the support staff to find the solution. Sometimes it just magically clears up by itself. I had an expression I used: IFM It’s friggin’ magic. Feel free to substitute the middle word 😊

    Yes, I've encountered it too. But it always works the 2nd or 3rd try. It is also present in Quicken Classic so it is either something wrong with AmEx or with the OAuth connection.

    I have set it up again, so I suspect the former.
