[removed] does this all well — especially the bar graph showing the percentage used of available credit limit. Copy them.

Need a way to attach notes to accounts. (ie: promotional dates, account #'s etc).

Also, changing the name of the account just by overwriting it should not remove the accounts' history in reports.

Bumping this - to see if any recent users also want to vote for this.

I would (in particular) like :

"Credit Limit" for any credit card accounts

Notes would also be nice, but really should be a separate idea. I am a fan of one idea per post.

Agreed, this is needed. A basic thing that makes a big impact.

Hard to believe these features aren't already in Simplifi. They're so basic and fundamental to managing one's finances. Credit card limits? Utilization? Ability to record acct number, or just last 4? Notes? Come on, Simplifi! This is just basic stuff that everyone should have the option to use.

While I'm not disagreeing with your post, I thought I'd mention that you can edit the account names to include the last for digits of your credit card. I have that set up. It needs to be done manually (once per account) but it's definitely worth a few minutes to set it up.

I agree. That's what I've done. I actually include the bank, the owner (my wife or me), the last 4 digits, and the credit limit. Example: "BA KB 1234 (9.0)" which is a Bank of America credit card in my name ending in 1234 with a $9,000 credit limit. It works, but it's just a very kludged workaround. If they had a field for credit limit, they could calculate your total credit card credit limit and utilization. Classic Quicken had fields for all this and much more. Calling software "Simplifi" and then forcing us to use spreadsheets on the side to keep track of our finances demonstrates they're still far from their stated goal.

Since Simplifi takes the account balance when updating then this should not be difficult. Right on Target, there are part of Simplifi that are not "simplified".

Also, I have done the last four number of the account. I do this on all the accounts and payees. cuts down on the entry errors as well.

I would find a free form note field useful, as I could put whatever I want in there. Then I wouldn't need any dedicated fields for other information.

  • I would like to see available balance on my credit cards. I forget what my limits are on some of my credit cards.

It would save me time on have to go found the available credit balance.

I use my cards for velocity banking.

    Thoughts?

I think they added a credit limit display, though I may have missed the announcement - I saw this today:

I'm seeing this on some credit cards but not all of them.

It's also displaying the statement balance, minimum payment, and due date, which I don't recall seeing before.

I see that also. Really nice addition! Working for me on Amex, Chase, Citi, Kohls, and Target. (I did not log in to each bank's website to check that the info is correct, I probably will at some point just to be sure :) )

Yeah, it works sort of for the connected credit card accounts. My manual credit cards (Coign and Apple) show nothing, but I understand why. I think you have to set up a credit card bill.

One of my credit cards that I haven't used in a while says the Due Date is July 31, 2023! So I am overdue. LOL

Maybe that was the due date of your last bill! :D

For the manual accounts, how would it know the info? It makes sense. I wonder if it works for a connected account where you don't use Bill Connect (I don't have any to check).
