In Simplifi mobile on iPhone, go to Investments>Balances>Transactions. Select a transaction, make a change, and then tap Update. Nothing happens.

I just went to my iPhone Simplifi app and selected a transaction in my IRA, changed the amount, and it updated. Then I changed it back, and it updated again.

    However,

I then tried to change the amount of a dividend in my Brokerage, and it wouldn't update. I tried another one, and it wouldn't either. But I was also able to change in the Roth IRA account. So this "bug" seems to affect only the Brokerage account.

I rebooted the phone, removed the app and reinstalled it. It still wouldn't update a Brokerage transaction amount.

Then I decided to add a new transaction. That worked. I then went back to the Transaction I had tried to change and changed it from a Payment/Deposit to an Income Dividend (which it had been originally before I changed it myself last week), and that worked. I tried to change the amount. Nope. I changed it back to a Payment Deposit and that worked. I then tried to change the date; that didn't work.

So I am at a loss as to why it seems to only balk with the Brokerage account and making slight changes to the amount or the date while making bigger changes to the actions will work.

What kind of changes were you trying to make and which accounts?

@Forteleza and @SRC54, thank you for bringing this to the attention of the Community!

I was able to reproduce this issue on the Quicken Simplifi Mobile App, and I got it reported as a bug. I will post back here with updates!

Thanks! It was a good catch by @Forteleza. I'm still interested in what kind of transaction and investment account you were editing.

Changing the date or amount of a downloaded transaction is not something I would usually do. and anything involved like that, I usually do with the web app.
