Some current Savings Goals not showing up in Spending Plan (edited)

I have two current Savings Goals that are partially funded and scheduled for completion in March and April 2026. The amount saved so far in those two goals is reflected in my "Available Balance" for the related account as normal.

But these Savings Goals do not show up in this month's list of Goals in my Spending Plan. Both Goals showed up in the list of Goals last month; neither show in any future month.

Here is one of the missing Savings Goals, as listed in the Savings Goals main section:

And here is the complete list in the Goals section of the Spending Plan:

As you can see, the 2026-04 Cabin Ins Goal isn't there. What am I doing wrong here?

BTW, if the solution is to delete and recreate the Savings Goals, I have another question. How do I adjust prior months' Spending Plans to account for the fact that the contributions to these Goals will no longer show up in the months where I contributed to them? If I don't do that, the "Left this month" figure will be quite a bit off.

UPDATE: This seems to have fixed itself. Here's what happened:

    1. Simplifi suddenly stopped working and switched me back to the signin screen.
    2. I signed in and Simplifi almost got fully started before saying there was a problem.
    3. I signed in again and Simplifi came up as normal (on version 4.86.1, which I was already using)
    4. I looked at my Spending Plan and all the Goals were back in place.

Here's a screen shot of the new Goals page. As you can see, the Goals that were showing last time are now lines 1, 4 & 5 while the formerly missing goals are showing up on lines 2 & 3:

I'm glad it's fixed itself, but this kind of situation does not build confidence.

    Hello @DryHeat,

Thanks for reaching out! That is certainly a strange issue. I am glad everything turned out fine, and your Savings Goals are now showing up properly.

Yes, the system eventually corrected itself. But for a while I was misled as to how much money I had "Left this month." It was only because I glanced at the Spending Plan | Goals section that I detected the problem.

Savings Goals should not mysteriously disappear even if they just as mysteriously reappear later.

I have already provided a description of the problem along with confirming images. In case it was needed, I uploaded feedback logs as well: report created - reference id 515878061744702721. Do you need anything else?

    Hello @DryHeat,

Thanks for the reply. If the issue is resolved, there is no need to submit a bug report at this time. If this happens again in the future, be sure to let us know!

If the issue is resolved, there is no need to submit a bug report at this time.

    First, I'm not @RobWilk.😕

Second, I encourage anyone who sees a similar Savings Goal event to report it on this thread.

I'm not sure exactly how many times this kind of software error has to happen before support sees a need to submit a bug report.

(Probably it's more than one. Or maybe it could be one if the error lasted longer. You know, kind of like, "If you have a software error lasting more than four hours call your support team."🤣)

But if this is a reoccuring issue it will likely only get attention if people compile a list of failures.

    Hello @DryHeat,

That is my mistake. I apologize for not tagging you correctly. As for bug reports and escalations, we generally only report things that are actively occurring or have a history of recurring without resolution.

"we generally only report things that are actively occurring or have a history of recurring without resolution."

I understand your policy — even though I disagree with the bit about "recurring without resolution."

I think if a problem continues to reoccur — even if it resolves itself after a while — it should be addressed.

Anyway, your policy is why I suggested people report reoccurances on this thread (to make tracking easier).

@DryHeat I agree. I also think that anyone who wants to submit a bug report will need to do so before it's resolved, otherwise how will they provide the necessary information and screenshots for the report. That's why it was no longer necessary for @RobWilk to submit.

I've seen this kind of thing a lot lately where something weird happens, but I don't want to stop what I'm doing and start a support thread and wait for a response to see what information and screenshots are required, so I just fix/redo it manually. It's a bit tedious to start the whole process of submitting a bug report when I just want to update my data so it's correct. This means that I only end up starting a conversation about a bug if it comes up a few times and is annoying enough that it's worth my time to (try to) get it fixed.

I agree; it is tedious. And not worth it if the problem doesn't have enough momentum to be addressed.

That's why I just suggest folks dropping a one-liner here — "I have this problem too" — if it happens.

Then, if it turns out the issue is significant and will actually be addressed, it will be worth the effort of providing more detailed information.
