GreenState Credit Union - Bank Balance shown as Positive when it should be negative (edited)
I have a credit card account through my bank and my balance due amount is shown as a positive amount by them. It is what I owe them so in reality it should show as a negative number. When I refresh my accounts in Simplifi it comes in as a positive and reduces my overall liabilities by the amount I owe. Wouldn't life be great if that were reality but it is not. How do I fix this?

Hello @Jeeves,
Thank you for reaching out! Could you please specify which financial institution the credit card account, experiencing this issue, belongs to? Can you also share screenshots showing the balance in Quicken Simplifi compared to what is showing on the bank's side?
Let us know!

The Institution is GreenState Credit Union and it is their "Platinum Rewards Master Card" account.
They show the Balance Due as a positive number in the upper part of the dashboard screen and then each payment made to pay off a balance is recorded in the account details as a positive number (correctly) and the purchases I make are all recorded in the details as a negative number (also correctly). All the negative numbers (my purchases) are totaled and shown in the dashboard of the account as a positive number (incorrectly) and it appears that positive number is what gets transferred to Simplifi. It seems as though Simplifi does not correct it.

Hello @Jeeves,
Thanks for the reply! Can you supply the screenshots I requested previously? This will help us better understand the situation, and in case of escalation, we can pass it along. You may feel free to DM this information to me if you prefer!
I would also see if simply resetting the account connection works to resolve the issue you are seeing here:

Coach Jon,
Sorry, but I would prefer not to send a screen shot. A screen shot won't really tell you anything more than I have already explained.

Also what's a DM

Thank you for your reply,
A DM is a direct message. To send one, click on the username you wish to message, then click the Message button.
A DM is more private than posting to the Community, since it sends the information directly to that person, rather than being publicly viewable.
I hope this helps!
