Crate and Barrel Credit card issue is still there - FDP-102/FDP-103 (edited)

Hi - I got a noitce that the Crate and Barrel Credit card conneciton issue has been resolved. I can't seem to log in using my crate and barrel account name and password. This works via the link but not in simplifi.

Note - to get into my card transactions, I need to login to a new platform called imprint - is the new connection established?

    Thanks for reaching out! From our side, I can see that you are receiving an FDP-102 error when trying to connect. A user will usually receive error code FDP-102 when our connection with their bank is being throttled by the bank, limiting the number of successful connection attempts. Users will still be able to access their bank’s website directly, and this error typically resolves itself within 24-48 hours.

    Can you provide a screenshot of the error you are receiving from your side to better assist us? Additionally, can you let us know if you are trying to connect an existing account in Quicken Simplifi already, or if you are trying to connect a new account?

    For the former, I would see if the following steps work to resolve the issue for you:

    • Make all of the accounts with the bank manual by following the steps here.
    • Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
    • If the connection is successful, carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.

    thanks. I tried to go through the steps and add a new account. Still getting the error - see screenshot

    Based on your screenshot and what I can see in our internal tools, it looks like you're no longer getting the FDP-102 (time out) error, and are instead getting the FDP-103 (invalid credentials) error. To troubleshoot this error message, please follow these steps:

    • When entering your password, enable the “Show Password” option to confirm there are no typographical errors.
      • If you're using a password manager, please manually type it in, just in case the one saved is outdated.
    • Verify that you can sign into the bank’s website using the exact same credentials that you're using when attempting to connect in Quicken Simplifi. Sometimes, too many failed login attempts can result in the account getting locked on the financial institution's end.
    • Update your credentials – Try temporarily updating your password at the bank's website, and then try again to connect in Quicken Simplifi. We recommend NOT using the following special characters: & < > / \.

  • can you please confirm what credentials to use? My login and password work for crate and barrels website listed in Simplifi; however, crate and barrel credit card is now part of Imprint - which prompts me for a phone and sends me a one time code…. Neither login works in Simplifi

    Thank you for the reply! To clarify further, are you prompted for this one-time code after inputting your login credentials, or is the code how you log in specifically, essentially replacing the login credentials you used to use to sign in on the bank's website? Additionally, what is the exact URL you use to log in on the bank's side? Is it the same as the one provided in Quicken Simplifi for this financial institution?

  • The issue is Crate and Barrel now uses Imprint as their credit card. There is still no option to add Imprint as an account in Simplifi. The login for Imprint is your phone number, and then you are promted with a code, and then a PIN number. When will we be able to add the new Imprint card?

    Thanks for the information! In this case, we will want to report this issue in order to determine how to proceed with restoring the connection. I can see that you are also experiencing an FDP-102 error when trying to connect with Crate and Barrel Credit Card in Quicken Simplifi. You will want to try the same steps I gave previously in this thread, please.

    If the issue persists afterwards, then please provide the following information:

    • What is the exact URL you use to log in to your account on the bank's website?
    • A screenshot of the Accounts Summary page from the bank's website that has a wide enough scope to show the full page URL. This is the landing page after signing in, and typically lists all accounts and balances. You will want to take this from a web browser and not a mobile browser, as well as redact any private info such as account numbers.

    We will also need logs to be submitted:

    1. Log in to the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
    2. Select Profile from the left-hand navigation bar.
    3. With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key for Mac or the Alt key for Windows, and then click Send Feedback.
    4. Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

  • The old Synchrony Bank Crate and Barrel credit card does not exist anymore. So I'm not surprised it's still showing a connection error, because it does not exist. I cannot login to my crate and barrel card through the Syncrony website anymore.

    Just want to add that the issue with Imprint also affects other credit cards. I just got the Rakuten credit card which is managed by Imprint, and there's currently no way to automatically link it to Simplifi. This is going to become a bigger and bigger problem as more cards emerge like this.
