Show Future Transactions as Transactions, Not like in Projected Cash Flow

In Quicken Classic, when I get paid, mine is set to enter that income and all bills for the next 30 days. So I can see known bills and income transactions before they happen, plus it provides me a balance for the end of that time period. Very easy to manage money like this.

Can a feature be included with Simplifi to do this? The Projected Cash Flow chart does not do this very well. It is a graph making seeing actual transactions difficult. Maybe it could list those transactions instead of placing in a graph. I don't know, but Simplifi is programmed all pretty and showy, but the practical use of actually viewing upcoming transactions is just missing.

Thank you for considering or advising me how to do this.

I also use Classic and it is a great product. As you say, you can see the upcoming bills and income in the transaction register in a vertical way, you can enter them or change the dates easily, and you can see a running balance so you get an idea of what those bills will do to your balance.

But Simplifi has a philosophy that centers around the Spending Plan, so you see the upcoming reminders in a horizontal way. You can interact with them and change the dates, etc, though we still cannot turn them into transactions (though this request is in review!). But the running balance is not going to work in Simplifi because of how it computes account balances.

In addition, in Classic your upcoming balance does not take into account any daily spending for gasoline, groceries, things that come up, which in Simplifi is handled by Planned Spending in the Spending Plan.

I think that your best bet is to think of ways to make the Cash Flow work better in Bills and Income. There are already some ideas proposed. You might want to take a look here:

You can also add your own.
