Skip the next debit/credit transaction in a series

Sometimes my paycheck is different because of a bonus. I’d like to be able to skip the next entry in the series that I had set up so that the spending plan looks right.

Just to make sure that you know.

You can always just dismiss the next reminder and it won't affect the series. This is what I do when I don't have to pay something one month. Go to Spending Plan and find the reminder, right click on "Edit Reminder". In the bottom left corner, you see in red "Dismiss Reminder". Hit that and you've skipped it.

You can also just edit that one reminder if it is going to be a different amount. Same drill. Edit Reminder and fill in new numbers. It won't affect the series unless you "Edit Series".

@vladinator, thank you for reaching out to the Community!

I went ahead and moved this out of Feature Requests, as you can dismiss individual reminders, as mentioned by @SRC54, which will only skip that reminder instance without impacting the series. Our support article here has the steps to do so: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/5541878-how-to-skip-an-instance-of-a-recurring-reminder#h_5114dd13e6

I hope this accomplishes what you're looking for!

Yes, I had already figured out how to do it. Thanks.
