Add a historical month-by-month Spending Plan Report (edited)

I'm a heavy user of the Spending Plan and I often find myself flipping back through the Spending Plan page month by month to see how I have been doing over time.

It would be helpful if there were a report that showed the Spending Plan results for the last "X" completed months in columns side-by-side.

A simple version of the report would show the six main numbers along with an average, like this:

An expanded version of the report could show more detail, like this:

It would be great to see this historical information organized in the same way as the Spending Plan so that — for those of us who focus heavily on the Spending Plan — it is easier to evaluate how we are doing.

    Great idea. I've tried for a while to think of something to do with old Spending Plans. This would give them some purpose. Upvoted!

    Love this idea - both a backward looking historical report and a forward looking projection. As loans get paid off, income sources fluctuate, it would be super helpful to get able to look at the year ahead in one view rather than tabbing month-by-month.

    @John Dressel

    I hadn't thought about a forward looking projection, but it's a great idea.

    The "Left this month" figure for historical months would morph into a sort of "Available this month" figure — giving an idea of how the potential Other Spend slack changes based on predicted fluctuations in income, bill, etc.
