Notification for Updates on Disconnected Institutions (edited)

When support for a connected institution changes, it is often better to just disconnect the institution rather than let it take forever to give up and error out when updating your accounts. It would be nice to be able to opt in to get a notification when support for that institution is restored.

Fin said to come check the support community to find out when support is restored. I’m not spending my time on that. That should be something that could be coded and sent to me by your software without wasting any human’s time looking for updates that may or may not ever come.

I think this is an excellent idea. Allow us to subscribe to a specific institution to be notified when it's working. This would be a great addition to the "connect an account" workflow when the connection fails. Forcing users to turn to the community, search, and read through pages of discussion to discover whether a bank works now is not ideal.

I did not see the check field when I first looked. I discovered that you have to select a checking account before it shows up on the bottom.
