Past due bills cannot link to transaction (edited)

In iOS mobile app, 3 bills showing past due. When I try to link them to the transaction, the list does not show those transactions (even though they are listed correctly in the account transaction list view).

@RobI, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

If you're unable to link a reminder to a transaction from the reminder directly because the transaction isn't showing in the list, you'll instead need to link the transaction to the recurring series itself, which can be done from the transaction itself. Here are the steps to do so on the Quicken Simplifi Mobile App: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/6425245-link-transactions-to-reminders-in-the-quicken-simplifi-mobile-app#h_a106b2f2fa

    I hope this helps!

If you are trying to link from the bill to the transaction and it's not working (which is what it sounds like), then try to link from the transaction to the bill (using the "Link to existing series" option on the transaction's three-dot menu).

I fully agree that it should make no difference. But I had a similar problem once before and reversing the direction made it work.

I checked them using the alternative approach and it shows the transactions are actually linked correctly

The remaining issue is that the 3 past due items should not be listed as past due. They just never cleared from the list in the Bills and Income section. I manually deleted them but its rather confusing.
