Vancity URL Change

The Vancity URL has changed as they have recently launched a new app / website. Can this be changed in the back-end by Simplifi? I have lost my connection and my accounts are no longer updating.

    Thanks for reaching out! Can you clarify the new URL you use to sign in to the bank website? Can you also let us know what error you are receiving when trying to connect in Quicken Simplifi?

    I think it's partially resolved. The Simplifi app will not automatically update data unless I do the MFA with the bank. Is this a normal situation?

    Thanks for the reply! Glad to hear it's resolved for you! As for MFA updates, some banks have increased their security measures to protect your financial information and now require verification with each connection attempt. Due to this change, you might be asked to complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) with each account refresh in Quicken Simplifi.

    While we understand how frustrating this may be, this process is in place to protect you and your account information. We don't have a way to prevent these requests. We do, however, have a way to reduce or disable account updates in Quicken Simplifi for frequent-MFA banks.
