Balances and transactions out of sync
On my bank account connected by Plaid
1. Enter a few transactions manually - set to pending
2. those transactions clear the bank account
3. Quicken updates the balance but doesn't get the transactions so things get double-counted
4. This triggers a negative balance alert which shows as negative on the website (in red text) but positive in the alert email. That is, Simplifi thinks I'm overdrawn when I'm not, but the email and website don't agree.
Solution is to hunt through bank account to see what cleared, then mark those transactions as cleared which fixes the balance. But that's the kind of manual labor I pay Simplify to do for me (p.s. my limit on fixing autocorrect for "simplify" is 3 attempts)
" is 3 attempts)

Last December there was an extensive discussion of conditions that can cause pending transactions either not to be counted or to be counted twice.
I'll link my most detailed comment below, but the whole thread is worth reading to help understand what might be going on. Let me know if any of that matches what you are seeing.

Hi Chris,
Just to clarify, do the cleared transactions never download? As I said in the other conversation, I have this phenomenon happen to me with two accounts. I do as you and go ahead and clear them because I can tell which ones they are since it takes 2 days or so for them to clear. But if I am patient, Capital One and Chase Visa Card will download the cleared transactions a few hours later.
So I am assuming they never clear? BTW, I don't think I have any Plaid connections. Is it that deposits aren't clearing that sends you into negative territory in Simplifi? (Not that this matters, but that would make things worse faster for your balance.)
Did you try going to Settings:Accounts and resetting the offending accounts? You could even make the account manual and add it back again linking to the old account to keep all your transactions just to see if a fresh connection fixes things. I
Did you peruse the conversation above that Dryheat referenced? Was any of that helpful?
Sorry to ask so many questions, but it will help the coaches too when they come in tomorrow and they can give you direct support.
I know in my case that I should dump Chase and Capital One, but Amazon Visa gets me 5% cashback from Amazon and it seems that all the HYSA have a problem with downloads, e.g., EverBank, American Express, etc.
