Ability to edit planned spend series target amounts and carry forward from past months (edited)

I would like to be able to update the expense series target amount on existing categories in a prior month (say, four months in the past), and have it carry forward through subsequent months to the current month. Currently, when I make such historical change, after some time passes, the change I made to the target amount reverts to what it was before--even if it is hours later or the next day.

Please develop a way around this issue where changes to prior month target amounts don't "stick" in subsequent months.

    • When did you first notice this issue?
    • Does this happen in the mobile app, the web app, or both?
    • About how long does it take for your changes to revert?
    • When it reverts, does the historical information change, or is it only new instances that go back to the original target amount?
