Re: Convert Reminders to a Transaction on the day they occur [edited] (1 Merged Vote)
With time, I've come to realize I do not want this feature. While I do want the ability to convert a reminder to a transaction, I don't want anything entered automatically from reminders. I may schedule things that don't have definitive dates, and i'd rather have them move forward as a 'past due' reminder, than a transaction. Reminders are to remind me to make payments, and if it's auto entered, I will never remember. Also, what about the case where a reminder is income, and it gets auto-entered but is not actually in the account for some reason -it could cause me to spend money i don't have.
In short, I think I am now the first no vote for this idea.

Re: Can we link 2 separate people's accounts under the same Bank?
I do that with Chase and it works fine…
Re: Ability to automatically contribute to Savings Goals [edited] (5 Merged Votes)
Agreed. When I realized this didn't happen automatically, I just deleted all the Savings Goals and just added the custom aggregate number to my Savings Plan. It's not helpful if I need to take on the manual reconciliation of all transactions. For now, I have the savings account named according to the goal, and can view the balance in my account list. But I'd really love to use Savings Goals, as there is something inspiring about seeing that goal out there, the total, and the progress bar.
To add, contributing automatically isn't just the "contribution" but also when the account earns in interest. That's also something to be reconciled manually today. For anyone with lots of savings accounts for a half dozen goals, not sustainable.
Re: Ability to run Reports by Subcategory (edited)
@Coach Natalie how many votes are necessary to consider the “idea” for development? I would merely call it “an idea” as this is clearly a lack of the feature on the mobile apps. This is such a trivia feature which is available in [removed] and was a basic feature of Mint. Lack of parity between desktop browser and mobile apps for this simple ask is truly baffling. I hope the Simplifi team can reconsider priority for this feature.
Re: Issue connecting two logins with Vanguard (edited)
@Coach Natalie @Coach Jon @Coach Kristina OK, this issue has gone on for far, far, too long. Be honest with us — is it ever going to get fixed? Talk to your engineers. Give us a timeframe.
I have been doing commercial software for 35 years and I've never seen an issue with this big of an impact get actual radio silence from the product team.
No way this product is worth the $79 or whatever if the basic functionality with one of the biggest financial institutions in the country doesn't work.
Re: My Experience Using Quicken as an International User (Why I’m Switching)
Hello @ejobity,
I'm sorry to hear that Quicken Simplifi doesn't meet your needs, but thank you for coming to the Community to provide your feedback! As Customer Service already said, Quicken Simplifi's target market is North America. I'm not aware of any plans to expand beyond that, but you can create an Idea Post to request such support. Ideas that get enough votes may be implemented in the future. For more information about creating an Idea post, please click here.
I can see a couple idea posts for making manual entry more efficient. There's the one you created in April, asking for a template ability for transactions, and also one asking for reminders to be able to convert to transactions:
If you haven't already added your vote for for the 2nd one, you may want to consider adding your vote and a comment.
You mentioned budgeting needs more refinement and could be stronger, but you didn't list any specifics. Were there specific features you were wanting to see added/improved?
You're not the only one who wants to see better support for users who deal in both US and Canadian dollars. I can see there are a couple Ideas asking for better support for multiple currencies:
If you haven't already done so, please add your vote and a comment.
I hope this helps!
Re: Incorrect balance in manual account
Related: Values in Market Value graph for manual Other Asset account are date-shifted
The Market Values graph at the top of the page for a manual Other Asset account looks like a day by day representation of the value of the asset over the selected period. But it's not.
In reality, the graph doesn't count transactions based on the displayed transaction "Date." Instead, it treats the transaction as having happened on the date it was entered into Simplifi.
For example, today (Oct 4) I entered transactions dated August 31 and September 30 representing the gain in those two months. But the Market Value graph shows the increase in value from those two transactions as a single spike in value in October — on the date they were entered.
This is not a big deal for me, but it does skew the value graph and make it less accurate.

I went ahead and created a new feature request that would fix the problems we have been talking about in this conversation. Please upvote it.

Re: Add Ability to Re-Calibrate Balance in Manual Accounts
they could put time limits on this, like once per hour max, if they were worried about overload..
