How do I add retirement accounts with ICMA Retirement Corporation?

I have a retirement account at ICMA Retirement Corporation (ICMARC), they also go by mission square. When I looked it up to add to Simplifi, I get an error (have attached the screenshot). Is this not supported or do I need to add the account in a different way?

    Hello @kash80,

Thanks for reaching out! I am sorry for the trouble you have had. I found a couple of other instances in Quicken Simplifi for this FI. Have you tried these as well to see if you can connect?

    Thanks,

@Coach Jon - I tried the first and third one as they have the same URL. Both gave me the same error. The second one seems to be for different institution.

    Hello @kash80,

Thank you for that confirmation! Are you trying to update an existing account in Quicken Simplifi or add a new account?

    Thanks,

This has nothing to do with the connection issue you are having but just an "this is how I 'include' my retirement accounts" in QS.

I was able to connect to the investment firm where our accounts are held, but after a couple of months of messing around with trying to keep up with the minutia of the various transactions that went on in the course of the month that has no direct impact on my day-to-day finances, I disconnect those accounts and set them up as manual accounts instead. As manual accounts, I can include the value of each account in my net worth without having to spend time classifying and categorizing all the transactions that get downloaded into QS.

I do take some time every month or two to review my portfolios and update any changes in holdings, but that is a lot easier.
