Can't link Sofi Account. Getting FDP-102
I've been trying to link my new Sofi account since last Saturday and keep getting the following error:
We are unable to connect to SoFi at this time. Please try again later.
Care Code: FDP-102
Is there a known issue.

Hello @meoge,
Thanks for reaching out! As the error states, we are unable to connect to your bank due to either the selected bank throttling connection traffic, the bank’s website or the URL used to connect being unavailable, or the selected bank is performing maintenance on their servers. While you may be able to log into your bank’s website successfully, you’ll still receive this error in Quicken Simplifi due to Quicken Simplifi connecting to a different server.
I do see on our side that this has been occuring for you for longer than 48 hours, so if you could provide a screenshot of the error as well as send us logs, this would be helpful. The instructions for sending logs can be found below:
- Log into the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
- Select Profile from the left-hand navigation bar.
- With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key for Mac or the Alt key for Windows, and then click Send Feedback.
- Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.
Thanks,
Coach Jon

I'm sure you've already figured this out, but it seems to be an issue with Plaid and Sofi. I can't link Sofi with any system that uses plaid. Finicity works fine though. Any chance we can use finicity for the connection?

I figured out the issue and how to work around it. Plaid wouldn't work while my sofi account was setup with an authenticator app as the 2nd factor. Once I switched the 2 factor to text messages I was able to connect the sofi account in Simplifi and other software that uses Plaid.
