how to exclude certain tags on reports?

I would like to exclude transactions with certain tags on reports. Is it possible?

There is not a direct way of doing this in reports. There is a feature request open, vote for it below. It is in review and has over 100 votes.

As a workaround, I will assign a flag to the transactions with the tag you want to exclude (example red flag for the tag you want excluded) using the multi edit transaction feature. Then filter the report by flag = none to show the transactions without the tag you want excluded.
