Exclude tags from reports workaround

Currently, there is not a direct way of excluding tags from reports. There is a feature request open, vote for it below. It is in review and has over 100 votes.

As a workaround, assign a flag to the transactions with the tag you want to exclude (example red flag for the tag you want excluded) using the multi edit transaction feature. Then filter the report by flag = none to show the transactions without the tag you want excluded.

Filter investment transactions by action

Use the multi-edit transaction feature to add a flag color to your income - interest and/or income -dividend investment transactions.

Then, filter by the flag color you assigned and you have a sum of the filtered interest/dividends on the investment transaction list for the year or needed dates (for the current calendar year, enter >1/1/yyyy on the search box and then filter by flag).
