Discover Bank, Security Service Federal Credit two of my most used accounts and it's been almost two weeks since they will not connect. Getting the 103 code. I'm so sick of these issues and don't understand why they can't resolve these in a timely manner.

I really wanted to make this app work but with these constant issues and not getting resolved I've reached my limit. I don't see any purpose in keep trying since there doesn't seem to be any improvement.

    Hello @cgoneal,

Thanks for reaching out! Typically, you will receive error code: 103 when an invalid username and password for the bank you are trying to connect with have been entered. You will want to verify this by following these steps:

    • Verify the bank selected is the correct instance.
      • You may see several different instances of your bank that you can add in the Add Account screen. Check to see if you’re using the correct one.
    • Verify that your login information is correct.
      • Type your password/PIN into a text application to ensure you don’t have any typographical errors. Then, copy and paste your login information into Quicken Simplifi to ensure accuracy.
    • Verify your login at the bank’s website – Try to sign in to your bank’s website using the same login credentials to ensure you've not locked yourself out of the account and that the credentials are still valid.
    • Check for an app-specific password – Some banks require users to use a specific app password when connecting to a third party. Check with your bank to see if you need to use an app-specific password.
    • Update your credentials – Try temporarily updating your password at your bank's website and then try again to connect to Quicken Simplifi. We recommend NOT using the following special characters: & < > / \.

Additionally, you will generally want to keep issues with separate financial institutions in separate posts in the community, as it allows the posts to stay on topic about that specific FI and issue, as well as allow other users seeing the same problem to chime in and troubleshoot.

    I hope this information helps!

All this is very well and good but NO, none of this works. Obviously my credentials work on my banks since I can't use Simplifi to get there!

These connections have been down now for weeks and if you look at your webpage with all the connection issues it's overwhelming. That being said I have no reason to continue using Simplifi. At this point I will cancel my renewal. Perhaps in the future they can figure these things out. Other companies have, not sure why you can't!!
