New user…assigning categories

I am a new user and have just synced all of my bank data into Simplifi. I have a monthly expense of $650 for alimony, paid by check sent by my bank’s bill-pay feature. Simplifi has auto-assigned this expense as ‘uncategorized.’ Is there a way to assign the category ‘alimony’ to all past payments, based on the search keyword 650.00?

    Yes. Search for $650.00 and that should ind all instances of any transactions with that amount.

    Click on the select all check box top left of the register. Double check that only the alimony payments are included.

    On the upper right of the transaction list is an edit icon that looks like a pen or pencil. And edit window will open and you can select.to edit Category. Select your Alimony category and apply.
