iPad app just crashes

The title says it all. I tap the app …it crashes. I would upload a video but this forum doesn’t allow video uploads

    To troubleshoot this issue, please try restarting your iPad. If the issue persists after the restart, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

    BTW: If you want to upload video, what usually works for me is uploading the video to youtube and pasting a link here (and it seems to put the video in-line with the message).
