Introduction
Hello!
I am from Rochester, NY. We recently purchased a tri-plex here. Our daughter is living in one unit- she is paying us back over time for the closing costs, down-payment, etc., so she owns her unit, and I am renting out the other 2 units. For now, I have everything together on Quicken. I have a separate bank account and do a spreadsheet for tax purposes for our rental. Seem to be working fine. My next goal is to save up for 2 years to buy a house in the finger lakes area. We may VRBO/Air BNB it part of the year and use it some for ourselves. Getting a handle on our expenses & paying off credit cards are priority #1, then save.

Hi!
My Grandfather lived in the fingerlakes area before he died for a few years (he died around the year 2000). He was in Seneca Falls (on Auburn Rd. from memory). Admittedly, he lived in a trailer in a small park, but he seemed to enjoy it there (we visited fairly frequently from long island).
