Flagstar Bank - "This Bank is not available right now"

Have any of you had experience with this at your banks?

If so, did it just resolve itself or did you have to do something else?

I opened two more SAV accounts at my primary bank (Flagstar) and want to attach them to Simplifi. For two days straight, I've been getting the following message at: Simplifi > Settings > Accounts > Flagstar > Three Dots > Add a New Account.

Are there any known issues with Flagstar Bank's connection right now?

    For troubleshooting purposes, I'm getting the same message on both a Windows & Apple machine.

    I had a mortgage through Flagstar somewhere along the line. That bit of trivia is of no help to your situation, but seeing your post reminded me of that little tidbit. Quicken Classic was my bookkeeping app at the time and I can't remember any issues with connecting to Flagstar. Other than that mortgage, I didn't do any other banking with them.

    Hope this gets worked out soonest for you.

    Hello @Flopbot,

    I haven't encountered this with any of the financial institutions connected in my Quicken Simplifi. However, when I check the add account screen, it looks like the connection options for Flagstar Bank may have changed.

    If you haven't done so already, I recommend adding the accounts using one of the current connection options.

    Speaking of trivial, useless information…. I am a couple miles from flagstar bank headquarters.

    Just to illustrate - In this picture, the red lines (bold) are where my morning walk was, and the purple/blue square towards the top of the map is about where the flagstar HQ is.

    Thanks @Coach Kristina for noticing that. I believe this is the reason. I'll work through adding the new accounts and, if I can't, I'll send @RobWilk to go talk to the head honchoes at Flagstar HQ! :)
