@Coach Natalie 2. The Bank does not do a running balance but I sent the Quicken Classic Running balance to Coach Jon. 1. I'll send you a current balance in Simplifi. It is now the same as the Bank's and will be so until Friday unless my wife gets gasoline on the way home from work. 3. Correct $482.80. 4. Correct, no pending either. 5. I sent this to Jon.

I will try to use the running balance from QClassic, but I don't think it's the same. Seeing the balance for the latest cleared transaction on the bank's website helps us from an online banking aggregation standpoint, whereas the running balance in QClassic is a program function.
For number 5, I don't see a screenshot that shows the full URL at the top of the Account Summary page of the bank's website. Telling them the URL is not the same as showing it in an image after a user has signed in.
Sorry for the hassle, and we appreciate your help with this.

As expected this morning, FUSB is right because I have no new cleared transactions. I have a Shell and a Walmart charge that will come through tomorrow, which will throw it off Friday. If my wife buys gas today, it will be off Saturday morning by that charge. Then I will have no more transactions until next week as I do all my spending M-Th in order to not owe money by the weekend. I use weekends to plan next week's spending. (It doesn't require much time.)
However, Chase is now off by the charge that cleared today. Later this morning it will be correct and I don't plan to use Chase again until it gets fixed. However, I took screenshots of it and the Chase Bank site in case you want them. Thanks.

@SRC54, okay, I just calculated what the balance should have been if those 4 transactions were being double-counted toward the balance on the bank's website, which would be $482.80 less than that balance.

@Coach Natalie My bank emailed me late Wednesday for information and the guy Dale said he had a theory. I was dubious about his theory (though hope he is right, of course), so I replied to him with the info he sought, but have not heard back yet. He's probably off until Monday.

Dale still says he thinks it will be a quick fix but won't be able to do it until his guy gets back from vacation Monday. He will want me to send him new information. I have a folder of all the screenshots I have taken. LOL
I know that no one else here uses this bank, but maybe there are some users who do. A lot of them don't even know about the community. And the issue is so like those other banks are having. First US Bank,I discovered, does have 1 branch in TN and 1 branch in VA! All the rest are in Alabama.

Another Weekly Update:
Well, another week has gone by, and no news from FUSB. The problem continues unabated. Wrong balance in the morning; fixed by 10am. The only thing I noticed this week was my ACH for my church was never double counted. But the ACH to my credit cards are! Why? Who knows? The ACH to the church came in on Monday and I only get updates from the bank Tuesday-Saturday.
Let me know if I need to do further evidence. I will email Dale at the bank again today.

If the ACH to your credit cards was linked to a recurring bill/transfer/reminder, and the church one was not, maybe that could be the difference? I wonder.

@EL1234 No, the church one was linked but my credit card payments aren't. I just pay off credit cards when I use them. I suspect it had something to do with coming in Monday (Simplifi linked it automatically) and was paid immediately. But really makes no sense. I am going to tell Dale about it in case it gives him a hint of what is wrong.

My FUSB technician informed me late Thursday that they had deployed a fix. Unfortunately, I was unable to test it until this morning as I had no pending transactions yesterday. Today I had 3 from yesterday clear (a debit card transaction, an ACH Bill Payment and a check from last weekend). All 3 cleared AND the bank balance was right! There were no ghost pending transactions. This is first time since early November.
I won't declare total victory until Tuesday or Wednesday when there will be more downloaded cleared transactions. I'll try to find out exactly what they did. So many banks having this trouble makes me wonder whether it was some software update that was deployed in late October or early November.
I'll report back next week.

I am happy to report that my local state bank is fixed. It has been correct every day since they deployed the fix. I have asked exactly what they did, but haven't gotten a clear answer. He said that they were double-counting [recently cleared] transactions in the Simplifi client", which we knew. But I have notified the bank that all is well now.
@Coach Natalie You can mark this resolved. You said that Simplifi had deployed a fix for this as well. I just wondered if they are separate fixes or the same fix. At any rate, thanks to you and Coach Jon.
