Will downloaded Apple Wallet transactions match with manual entries? (edited)
I usually manually enter payments (transfers) to Apple Card…. A day or two later, they download, typically without matching them. Is the Apple wallet integration designed to match? Also, keep in mind that the mobile app has no manual merge function yet.

@RobWilk Mine have matched almost perfectly so far. I will keep an eye on it as I have been impressed with how well it has worked for me (so far). I guess you have to delete the one you entered manually and edit the downloaded one?

Hello @RobWilk,
Are there any differences in the information you're entering manually and the information that downloads? According to this article (at the bottom of the Add a Transaction section), Quicken Simplifi should be able to match the transaction as long as the information is the same:
I look forward to your response!

I can’t promise my typed name matches downloaded name, but amount should be same and date should be close.

I just tried that with two transactions… But it seems the transactions I'm manually entering can be downloaded to the app directly within a few minutes (it seems to require multiple refreshes). That makes the manual entry unnecessary (just need to edit details like category, change it to a linked transfer). I'm used to where accounts take 4-6 hours or more to update, which is why i was entering transactions to keep accounts current.

Yep, I am the same way. I want the balance to be correct which is why I enter manual transactions. This morning my wife used another credit card to order Alabama softball tickets online. Had I been thinking, I would have had her use the Apple Card to see how long it took to update.
