Mobile App - Reminders on Dashboard are not advancing to the current dates

My reminders for yesterday still show as "today" on the dashboard. Once I click into reminders, they display as expected with yesterday's as past due and the current day's reminders labeled as today. The dashboard reminders don't refresh even after going to another screen in the app.

    Hello @Jenny T,

I am unable to replicate what you are seeing. In my mobile app, reminders from yesterday show yesterday. Are you using an Android device or an Apple device? Is this happening on a mobile phone or a tablet? What version of the app are you using?

If you haven't already done so, please try logging out of the app, then logging back in again. If the issue persists after that, please try restarting your mobile device.

I look forward to your response!

I noticed there was an app update (iPhone) shortly after I posted this. I think the issue is resolved but I’d like to watch it for several days to confirm. Thanks!

I noticed this again today. It was impacting only the first three reminders. As I scrolled through them the number of days was correct. I refreshed and went to other pages - still not updated. Then I hard closed the app and signed in again and it was updated. I didn't look on any other screen to confirm the day count before restarting the app to confirm only the dashboard was impacted.

Additional note, the first three were the ones in view before scrolling the reminders. Also, all three were still showing 3 days and are dated 11/15.

    Hello @Jenny T,

Thanks for the follow-up! I was also unable to replicate this behavior on my side, similar to Coach Kristina. Is this behavior also occuring in the web application for you? I would try uninstalling/reinstalling the mobile application to see if that fixes things going forward.

It seems to only happen in mobile. Thanks

    Hello @Jenny T,

Thanks for the reply. Did you try uninstalling/reinstalling the mobile application as mentioned above?

I just did so. We will see what happens over the next few days. I had already hard closed the app this morning to force the days to update. The reminder days was the only thing not updating unless I hard closed the app.

I just checked mine, and mine are right. That is, for example, I have a reminder for Paramount+ due today (it already billed, but did not download as it billed after last sync), and both on the web and on mobile app it is showing "today".

I wonder if we're dealing with something like a time zone issue here. i.e. time zone is either different or set incorrectly on one of the systems (local or remote).

So I took a few screen shots since last night to capture what happened. As of 11:21 PM last night, my first two reminders on the dashboard showed as: YMCA 2 days ago and Credit Union of America tomorrow, which was correct as those reminders are dated 11/15 & 11/18 respectively. I then checked it in this morning at 5:43 AM. The reminder dates had not changed and still showed as 2 days ago and tomorrow, while the recent spending section updated to Friday - Today (instead of Thursday - Today). I just checked it again at 6:55 PM; I had not been in the app since this morning, and I did NOT hard-close the app at any point today. Now those first two reminders show correctly at 3 days ago and today. Both of those should post tonight, so I'd expect them to be matched and cleared when I check again tomorrow. Given that at 5:45 AM this did not look correct and at 6:55 PM it did, it definitely could be a time zone issue or something similar. However, since the Recent Spending updated, it's not an overall system issue and appears to be isolated to Reminders. While it wouldn't make logical sense, could the order the sections are displayed on the dashboard be causing this? I have the Bills & Payments section at the top (under the Summary), with Recent Spending directly under it.

Looks like the app had an update and my reminder days are correct this morning so maybe this bug was addressed. Will monitor to confirm.

I'm still seeing incorrect day counts. For example, a reminder for Tuesday is showing "in 3 days" as of this morning still (Sunday). There's something about this dashboard element specifically that isn't refreshing unless I "hard close" the app and re-open it. I just reset the Dashboard to default options and will see if that impacts the behavior in any way. The top of the Reminders section is still in view on my iPhone 15 Pro Max so if it has something to do with whether that element is in view when the dashboard refreshes, it still may be an issue.

    Hello @Jenny T,

Thanks for the update. If you notice the same behavior again later, could you please provide screenshots showing the issue within the mobile application?

Good evening! I haven’t been watching this quite as closely since my last update so am not sure how often the dates are off on the dashboard, but grabbed some screenshots just now that were particularly interesting. The first two reminders both show the wrong days. They are both dated 12/12 (today) and one shows in 2 days and one shows tomorrow. I am including screenshots of the dashboard, the reminder details, the calendar showing today’s date, and the reminder list once clicking in the dashboard section showing the correct information. I hope this helps!

    Hello @Jenny T,

Thanks for the follow-up. When you close and reopen the app, does the issue still resolve itself as you mentioned before?

Unfortunately, I didn't try that last night and those particular transactions posted last night. The ones on my dashboard right now look correct. I'll keep watching and sending examples and details.
