Inaccurate credit score?

I’ve been using the credit score feature since it was generally available. Thanks for adding that feature.

However, the score reported in Simplifi has never been accurate. I update it each month in Simplifi. But Simplifi always reports high 600s for my score, whereas I’ve always monitored my credit score (through other 3rd parties as well as the 3 primary credit score entities) for many years, and my score has always been above 800.

So this seems like a Simplifi bug? I didn’t see any other open issues here about this, though……so not sure how widespread of an issue this is?

Mine seems about right. Are you sure your score is from the same source? I notice mine varies a few points from one Credit agency to another, but it doesn't very much.

Mine is consistently in alignment with other sources I receive scores from. None of the several sources I receive a credit score from aggress with the others, but all are within a 10 - 20-point variance.

    Hello @PhilG,

The credit score I see in my Quicken Simplifi is fairly consistent with the other sources I receive scores from. There is some small variance, but never more than a few points (and that is usually due to time delay in when the score is updated in the various tools).

According to our article on the Credit Score feature, the score we show comes from VantageScore 3.0 and is based on data from Equifax. Do the other tools you use to monitor your credit also use VantageScore 3.0? Do you see this incorrect score on both the web app and the mobile app?

I look forward to your reply!
