BTC / ETH investment tracking referencing Grayscale ETF prices
I have a Robinhood account that I pull into Simplifi to track among my other investments. The overall account balance shows correctly, but the individual investment line items for Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin (BTC), Litecoin (LTC), and USDC are referencing different assets than expected. The ETH symbol references a "Grayscale Ethereum Mini Trust ETF" and the BTC symbol references a "Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF".
Any ideas for getting those ETH, BTC, LTC, and USDC symbols to point to the actual Ethereum, Bitcoin, and USDC asset prices?

Hello @theotherjay,
Thanks for reaching out! To clarify your issue, the Holding names and prices you highlighted are incorrect? If that is the case, I would suggest resetting your account connection to see if that corrects the issue you are seeing:
If that does not work, please provide the following information:
- The name of the account, as it appears in Quicken Simplifi.
- The balance for the account in the Accounts List in Quicken Simplifi (this is the list of all accounts and balances on the left side of the Dashboard on the Quicken Simplifi Web App, or the list of all of your accounts when you select "Accounts" from the Quicken Simplifi Mobile App).
- The balance for the account in the Investments Portfolio in Quicken Simplifi (if you have multiple investment accounts, you'll want to filter the page to just this account).
- The balance for the account as displayed on the bank's website.
- A screenshot of the holdings for the account in Quicken Simplifi (if you have multiple investment accounts, you'll want to filter the page to just this account).
- A screenshot of the holdings on the bank's website for a comparison.
Feel free to send this information via direct message! Let us know how that goes!

Thanks for the response, @Coach Jon! Correct, the holding names and prices are incorrect. It looks like Simplifi is referencing something different from the expected Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. assets based on the BTC/ETH symbols that Robinhood is sending over.
If I try to add a manual asset in Simplifi, adding the BTC symbol pulls this Grayscale ETF thing, whereas the ^BTCUSD symbol looks to be the "correct" Bitcoin price.
I reset the account in Simplifi and it's still the same. I'll get those screenshots together and send them your way shortly.
Thank you!

Hello @theotherjay,
Thanks for the information! BTCUSD is the correct symbol for Bitcoin in Quicken Simplifi, yes. The correct symbol for Ethereum is ETHUSD as well. When connecting your Investment Accounts to the financial institution, tracking cryptocurrencies may be a little more challenging. Although the financial institution may accurately identify the coin, they may not provide a valid ticker symbol, which would prevent Quicken Simplifi from being able to retrieve updated price quotes.
Let us know once you can send the information over we requested!

Hello @theotherjay,
Thanks for the feedback. Can you also let us know what the correct symbol is supposed to be for the USDC holding you shared in your screenshot above? You shared the other two, but we will need that one as well.
Thank you,
Coach Jon

Thanks Jon!
- Litecoin (LTC) in Robinhood looks like "LTCUSD" in Simplifi
- USDC - not sure about this one. I don't think i see it in Simplifi. It's called "USD Coin" and the value should always be $1 as it is (theoretically) pegged to the dollar.

Hello @theotherjay,
Thank you for the reply. Is Litecoin (LTC) also incorrect in Quicken Simplifi as far as the symbol and price it is showing in Holdings? I ask because that holding was not highlighted the way the others were in your original screenshot.
Thanks,
Coach Jon

Yeah, sorry about that. I missed it when i made that screenshot. It should be "Litecoin" instead of "Ltc Properties".

I have the same issue. My ETHUSD switches to Grayscale ETF. In the meantime I found that using ETHUSDT is a workaround as it seems to have the same value.
