Switched to Simplifi After Using YNAB since 2013
Hello, my name is Tom. I first started using YNAB back in 2013 and have stuck with the original version ever since then. I tried their online monthly subscription, but didn't like it, and went back to my original version. YNAB was installed on my old laptop with Windows and I had been having problems with it for some time. Things got very slow. I also use a Chromebook, which wouldn't support YNAB. So, I have switched to Simplifi on my Chromebook. It took me a while to get used to how Simplifi works. Over a months time I got things worked out. When I didn't know how to do something, I just Googled it. I am pretty pleased with Simplifi and really enjoy the fact that it updates all of my transactions automatically. To get faith in Simplifi I was able to get the month of August to match with my numbers in YNAB. There are a couple of little things I don't like, but they are minor. I definitely recommend it.

For the things you don't like, I suggest searching this forum to see if there are "idea" (voting) posts to change, and if not, consider creating your own idea posts where people can vote to agree/disagree. Sometimes, depending on the speed with which things get votes, things get done quicker than others. If you and only a few others want the change, it may or may not ever get done.

Welcome @TRY! Yes, let us know what you don't like. You probably won't be alone. YNAB is one of the few that I never used. I looked into it once and it just wasn't for me. I have enjoyed the way the Spending Plan works in QS. YNAB was more than I needed.
