Net Income is positive but graph is below
The web app Net Income Report is showing my income/exppense below the line for October. but the net income is positive. The phone app is showing the same positive number but it does not graph anything. Both the phone app and web app show a minus for income and a minus for spending. All other months are correct

I remember when I was introduced to negative numbers in school… way back when… it was mind bending for me.
I do seem to remember that in certain circumstances when subtracting a negative from a negative you ended up with a positive, but math was never my strong point.
Here is the "rule:"
In case the magnitude of the second operand is greater than the first operand, the final output has a positive sign associated with it. For example, we have, -2 – –4. This equation is equivalent to -2 + 4, which boils down to the addition of 4 to -2 and produces 2. Or we can say -2 – (-4) = 2.
So, based on that the calculation here is correct: (-27,496.73) - (-23,332.57) becomes 27,496.73 + (-23,332.57) and that does equal +4164.16.
But I agree, and I would expect the net income for October to be -$4,164.16.

Mine are all positive..
My guess, and this is only a guess, is that you have some things assigned to 'income categories' that month that aren't income, and things assigned to 'expense categories' that aren't expenses. Each category, i believe, is marked as either income or expense.
Here's my chart:

Yes minus times a minus is a plus, but I didn't have a minus income in October

@N4KHQ Did you checking the "income" and "spending" reports for those months, and what they total to? I would also verify on those separate reports that everything listed as 'income' on the income report is positive - and everything listed as spending on the spending report is negative - those reports i believe are based on category assignments and not on whether it's positive or negative.

No have not checked but I will. How is it possible the have a negative income of several thousands

@N4KHQ By putting a large expense (or many smaller/medium expenses) in a category that is an income category. Each category (settings→categories) has a type:
Here's some examples of both on mine (some or most of these are pre-created):
EDIT: For the record, for example, I don't collect alimony, and don't know that I ever would qualify for that as a man.

When I was having the problem, income and spending was matching the first screen shot which was way high and backwards on everything except net income. It just fixed itself unless a tech noticed and did a reboot Ha Ha

I did wonder about that. If you set up a Watchlist for income it will show as negative since Watchlists are set up track expenses and not income. It is very strange that both income and expenses are showing on the negative side of the line. Based on how I think the Net Income report is supposed to work this shouldn't happen no matter what.

I wanted to see what happened if my expenses exceeded my income and here is the result. For October I excluded enough of my income to be less than my expenses. As you can see the net income drops into the negative, but the income and expense bars remain above the line.
Your October graph has been flipped for some reason and I think you will need some input from the tech staff.

Hello @N4KHQ,
You mentioned that the issue seems to have corrected itself. Is it displaying properly in the mobile app also?
