Certain Investments Not Counting Toward Net Worth
I have a manual 401(k) investment account where I have entered in a quantity of a security with the symbol "V60SEL" (this is how it appears in Simplifi). When I record this holding, the amount is counted toward the "Market Value" field when I click into the account, as shown below:
However, the amount is not being added to my net worth - the value in the account sidebar is zero, as shown below:
When I enter in manual cash holdings, this amount does show up in net worth, and I've tested it with other stocks (like AAPL), which work as well. It appears to be an issue only with my V60SEL holding.
Any advice / tips? Thank you in advance.

What is "V60SEL"? Is this a ticker symbol for a listed company?
Is this the only holding in your 401(K)?
If this is not a valid sticker symbol, QS won't have any way to determine the value. If this is cash, you will want to enter it as Cash and since this is a manual account you have control over how your holdings are listed - "Stocks or Options" or "Cash".

Hello @piksol,
In addition to @DannyB's response, it is possible that what you're seeing is because the account sidebar is based off of the Balance today value on the Balances tab, not the Market value that you see on the Portfolio tab.
Those numbers can be different because they are based on different data. Market value comes from the most recent delayed quote.
Balance Today comes from the sum of account balances today. It says that it's dependent on successful aggregation of the account, but I notice the Balance today value is sometimes different from the Market value in manual accounts also.
I suspect that it will self-correct the next time that Quicken Simplifi refreshes with financial institutions (approximately 4-6 hours).
I look forward to your response!

Hi @DannyB and @Coach Kristina,
Thanks for your responses. Simplifi does recognize V60SEL as a valid ticker. When I enter in the ticker and # of shares held, the holdings table updates correctly as shown below:
The market value field also updates to reflect this amount:
However, I'm still having the issue where the Balance Today in the dashboard is zeroed out.
I don't think it's due to any discrepancy between Balance Today and Market Value as @Coach Kristina suggested, because I tried putting another stock in (like AAPL) and the Balance Today updated along with Market Value.
I'm wondering if it's an issue with V60SEL since I'm not having this issue with any other tickers.

Ah, I'm pretty sure I see what is going on here. Your "V60SEL" is not a listed stock/etf/bond/mutual fund, it is a portfolio recommendation of multiple holdings that fit an investment strategy that is designed to help you reach your retirement goal by around the year 2060. If you dig into the information package provided by your company and the investment firm your company uses to manage your 401(K) you will find the list of holdings recommended for the "V60SEL" portfolio. Your actual investment account should list all the holding in you actually own. You will need to either connect to that account or manually enter all the holdings in QS to get your numbers to show up properly.P.S. These 401(K) portfolios are often heavy on mutual funds.Danny

Try changing V60SEL to VTTSX. This is what I found on Vanguard's website:
If you can change the ticker symbol, this may fix the problem.
The V60SEL looks like a type of mutual fund listed under the ticker symbol VTTSX. Here is the link to the Vanguard web page with what amounts to this mutual fund's prospectus:
I admit that the price per share looks significantly different so there may be two different funds and you'll need to research that.

Hello @piksol,
Thanks for reaching out! To clarify, when you entered this holding as cash as you mentioned, did the balance in the account list still show as $0.00? Or did it properly reflect the entered amount?
I would also try changing the ticker as @DannyB mentioned, as this will help us narrow down the issue that is occuring here.
Let us know!
