Ability to set a default Date Range for Reports (edited)

the ability to have dates default to what you want. Currently it defaults to 6 months. It would be nice if I could pick the date it defaults to so I don’t have to constantly change it

Agree, if this isn't an existing idea… The way you can set the cash flow chart and it remembers your last setting, it should do that for report dates.

the way date range works is extremely frustrating…nothing sticks; you flip to another report category and it always the default
(?why "this month" for "spending" and "last 6 months" for everything else)
if you could just let the user set a single default date range or have the ability to apply a date range across report categories…it would really help
this is basic functionality that would greatly improve the products usability.

Agreed… dates should be sticky. For example, if I'm in Reports > Expenses and set the date range to Last Year, then I switch to Income, the date range should stick at Last Year. The way it behaves now is every time I switch between looking at Expenses, Income, Networth, etc. I have to set the date range again. That's very frustraiting and time consuming. Plus, there have been several times where I have 'made mistakes' because the dates don't stick and I didn't catch it and reset the dates.
