I am retired and we are looking to relocate in a couple of years once my spouse retires. So we need something to help us monitor our spending without having to do this manually. We have used Goodbudget for several years - it was useful in giving us an idea of where our money went, but now we want something more linked to actual accounts. So far excited about how this looks

I’m not quite sure how this will work for both of us to have access. Any suggestions are welcome.

Welcome. You get 30 days free of Simplifi, so just try it out. You can connect your accounts to see how it works for you. The new year is a perfect place to start. Once you have created an account, you can invite your spouse to create a logon and he will be able to sign in as well and work with the app. You can both use it on the computer or on your mobile phone and devices.

Lots of people here: coaches, superusers, etc. who will be happy to help you get the hang of it.

    Welcome to QSimplifi @SueB422

I have found QS to be a great tool to help us manage our money stuff as retired folks. Don't hesitate to post any questions as you explore and learn how to use this app.

Welcome to Quicken Simplifi! I have used the app for a year and it helps me monitor spending efficiently. Hope it works for your needs and that all your accounts connect without difficulty.

  • So far, it’s working ok. One bank doesn’t connect, but I’ve requested it, so for now we can do manual inputs.
My question today is- How do I reset rollovers in our spending plan to start in January? I’ve noticed that it is linking expenses from last year and since we are new and just setting things up, I want the spending plans to start in January.

    Hello @SueB422,

Thanks for reaching out! We do have a great support article that explains how to use Rollover in Planned Spending within Quicken Simplifi. I do know that the Rollover feature can only be seen and changed in current and future months. Here is the article: https://support.simplifi.quicken.com/en/articles/9029030-using-rollover-in-planned-spending

    Hope this helps!
