Account list in Settings no longer alphabetically ordered (edited)

My list of accounts in the "Settings" section is no longer listed entirely alphabetically. It is split into two separate groups, each of which is listed alphabetically, with no reason behind the grouping that I can figure out (the first group lists my accounts from Alliant through Wells Fargo, then it continues on to the second group listing my accounts from Alliant (under separate log-in credentials from the Alliant account in the first grouping) through Vanguard).

Hi @Coach Jon,
I'd rather not post a screenshot to the forum showing my list of accounts (which includes ending digits of account numbers), but the issue is simply that my accounts are not listed in one long alphabetical list. Instead, they are listed as "Alliant, Ally, Amex, Bank of America……..Vanguard, Wells Fargo" and then the list continues on to "Alliant (wife's account), Amex (wife's account), Barclays, Bask……..TD, US Bank."
So the list splits up the alphabetical listing of all the accounts into two groups, with each group being listed alphabetically. I can't discern any reason for how the accounts got placed into the different groups.

You should be able to direct Message Coach Jon and send JUST the screenshot. In general, no actual discussion happens thru direct message with coaches, but for private specific info you can exchange it that way.

Hello @ejs,
Thank you for the clarification. To clear up any confusion, Accounts under Settings are grouped by financial institution specifically. The accounts you listed are most likely connected to different BIDs, which would have them grouped separately, as in this case.
I hope this makes sense!

@Coach Jon, I'm not sure I understand. The alphabetical ordering I'm talking about is the way the financial institutions are listed (not the accounts within a given institution). So my financial institutions are listed the way I described in my post above. The list looks like this:
Alliant
Ally Bank
Amex
Bank of America
[lots of other accounts, continuing to be listed alphabetically]
Vanguard
Wells Fargo
Alliant (wife's account)
Amex (wife's account)
Barclays
Bask Bank
[lots of other accounts, continuing to be listed alphabetically]
TD Bank
US Bank
I can send private screenshots as RobWilk suggested, but it would take a whole lot of screenshots to show the full list (I have a lot of accounts).

@Coach Jon, as requested, here is a screenshot showing where they start over alphabetically again. Previously the financial institutions were all listed alphabetically (one long alphabetical list), except for my Manual Accounts, which were grouped separately at the end (which is still the case).

@Coach Jon, it seems random to me. I don't see any rhyme or reason to how they are split up. Each of the two groups is a mix of credit card accounts, checking accounts and savings accounts.

@Coach Jon FWIW, mine are not listed alphabetically in web app, BUT they are listed alphabetically in the iPhone app. I hadn't commented before because it didn't really bother me as this is only in the Settings:Accounts and not in the Transactions section.
However, once I went incognito with Chrome, it fixed it. Hope this is useful.

… and mine is definitely, not that i ever paid attention before, first alphabetical by bank, next within each bank alphabetical by account name.

@Coach Jon In Safari, private mode or clearing cache/history doesn't fix it in web app.
But it is fixed in Chrome and my Chrome Simplifi app.

For me, the same in my usual browser, no clearing cache/cookies, no signing out/in, no incognito/inprivate mode. It just works.
I do think that yesterday or day before there was an update which I applied to my app, and as you may know, I'm in early access mode if that matters.

@Coach Jon, I use Chrome as my ordinary browser, which is where I experienced this error. I just checked in Safari and in a Chrome incognito mode, and the error is the same in both cases. In the mobile app, the accounts are listed in the correct alphabetical order.

Hello @ejs,
Thank you for checking. Strangely, we and SRC54 can only see this behavior in Safari. When did you notice this list change in the web application? Additionally, could you send logs to better assist us?
- Log into the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
- Select Profile from the left-hand navigation bar.
- With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key for Mac or the Alt key for Windows, and then click Send Feedback.
- Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

@Coach Jon, I first noticed it a day or two before I started this thread, so probably on January 20th or 21st. I just submitted logs as requested.
