I'm a LONG time Classic Deluxe user and would love to know a couple of things.
- Is Quicken Simplifi Business and Personal a completely app based SaaS version of Quciken Deluxe Home and Business?
- Can you import your Classic Deluxe data seamlessly into the app or do you need to start over?
- Is Quicken planning to make just a "Simplifi Deluxe" version so we deluxe users can migrate into a completely cloud based package?
I've had numerous issues with the supposed Quicken Classic Cloud App and don't even bother with it any longer. It makes double entries with linked data vs manually entered data. I've manually entered data for 30 years and probably will continue to do so since credit card and banking institutions don't update very quickly. Quicken Simplifi is too basic and I can't track stock dividends or 401k activity very easily like Classic Deluxe, but I really want a cloud based app that I can pull up from anywhere, even while on vacation to enter data or check balances if need be. Right now, I house it on my work computer and remote login to it to manipulate it when I need to from my home, but there's got to be a better way and this looks promissing.
