Transfer Transactions Disconnected

Does everyone else experience transfer transactions to be separated once they post? What I mean by this is once you post a transfer between two accounts, if you make an edit Simplifi only updates the half of the transfer and you have to update the other half by clicking the other transfer line in the other account. Is there a way that transfers can be connected to the same transaction and remain in sync, similar to the functionality in Quicken Classic?

Hello @TiggerTrainer,
Thanks for reaching out! If the transactions are an actual Linked Transfer, whenever you update one half of the transfer, it should affect the other half as well. If you open up the Transaction Detail view, does it say "Go to other side" under the Amount?
We have a great support article explaining transfers and how they work in Quicken Simplifi as well:
I hope this helps!

Thank you for your patience as I learn the system. I think what I was seeing was if I updated a transfer in the browser in the transaction list it wasn’t immediately updating, but if I refresh it does update.
This is not the issue I thought it was. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.TiggerTrainer

I see a similar issue, where actual linked transfers don't always update the other side…
As best I can tell/guess, I'm often getting a scenario where a pending transfer gets cross-linked with the cleared/posted version, before the two are merged: Pending Side A gets linked to Cleared Side B, and Cleared Side A gets linked to Pending Side B, then Pending and Cleared get merged, and the whole thing appears disconnected and confused, sometimes showing as a transfer to and from the same account, etc. I frequently have to manually set both sides of transfers back to Uncategorized, then relink them, to make things work correctly.

Thank you for joining the discussion @squirrelbeforesunset,
To help troubleshoot this, please provide more information. Are the pending versions of the transfers manually entered, or do they download from the financial institution? When you say pending and cleared get merged, is this something that's happening automatically, or are you manually merging them? If this is happening with connected accounts, which financial institution(s) is this happening with?
I look forward to your response!
