Make Bicycling a default subcategory under Auto & Transport

You have cars, transit, ride share, etc. You should have bikes, too, as a lot of people are increasingly relying on their bikes to get around. Bikes have regular costs that are worth tracking like parts and maintenance.

Having this option will allow people to compare the costs of their biking vs. auto expenses (and hopefully realize how much they are saving!).

In the meantime, you should also be able to create a custom category/subcategory to accomplish what you want as well. Yes, this is a good time to remind new users that the default categories are just to get you started. You can rearrange it as you like. Most of us here have our own systems and there are very few that are alike. If you are happy with the default categories, that's great. If it just needs a bit of tweaking, that's great, but if you want to change it all the way, go for it!
