Thanks for the TAX report
Thank you for creating the TAX report.
I can see, very clearly, where my business expenses and personal deductions are. It looks like my personal expenses will be 'below' my standard deduction (only around $3000 or so), but the business expenses may save me $$ on taxes.
[edited out section on turbotax deluxe vs, business - i decided for $20 more to go with 'home and bussiness', it was a small enough step-up]

Yes, I like it a lot. I found it this morning when I went to look at the Monthly Summary. It must have been added with the latest update. I had already done my categories a couple of weeks ago, so it was a pleasant surprise to find it and it is very pretty. I haven't tried to print it since I don't need it for this year.
I filed my taxes last Monday.

After using the Taxes report for a while, I can say that (except for the 2023 year, which doesn't work because of some glitch) the only thing I wish I could do would be to get it to remember my settings. I would like to be able to unexpand (contract?) so I only see the numbers instead of the payees. You can do this manually but it is quite tedious. And Simplifi won't remember the next time. It might be nice if we could save customized reports.
I did export to Excel (Numbers opened it) and that was nice. Then I can print it or save it to PDF.

I'm guessing that the Tax Report is a tab on the Reports page. I'm not seeing it if it is. Funny thing, though, back when QS Business & Personal was first being released a Tax tap showed up on my reports page but then went away. I did notice that I can now assign a tax related information when creating or editing my categories so I expect the tax report will show up sometime.
