Unable to create recurring series unless started through transaction
Here's the error:
I seem to be able to create a recurring series from a transaction on the web interface, but not from settings→recurring.
Here's a sample one that failed, but I tried different variants with and without dollar signs, or just the word 'payment' or 'pmt':
I was able to work around this using the mobile app, which works.

Hello @RobWilk,

I will try, but first let me note: I can edit existing savings goals, i just cannot create new ones.

Okay, thanks - it worked.
Logging out and logging in fixed it.
I might not understand why, but if it works, that's all I need.

Hi @RobWilk I tested it using your Payee name just now and it worked for me. I am using Sarfari 18.3 on MacOS 15.3. Should be the latest version I think. But I know there are times this setting up recurring can be tricky.
I know you use a Mac so if there is something specific you want me to try, let me know.

@SRC54 While you were writing that, I posted that @Coach Kristina 's fix worked for me. All i did was log out and log back in, and i guess that either reset something or allowed an update to happen.
